How you can help speed up the conveyancing process

- Inform your estate agent that you have appointed somebody to act for you as soon as possible and pass the agent those contact details.
- Get confirmation that the other party has instructed a solicitor through your estate agent.
- Pay over any search fees and similar monies requested by the conveyancer as soon as you can.
- Provide your mortgage account number to the conveyancer as soon as you can.
- Return any acceptance forms or similar to your lender as soon as possible.

What happens during the ‘Exchange of Contracts’ ?

At EoC stage a completion date is normally mutually agreed when the transfer can and will be finalised.
